Your First Pipeline
Part of the GitLab CI course
You now know the vocabulary: pipelines, stages, jobs, runners. Vocabulary is not the same as confidence. Right now, "GitLab runs your script automatically on every push" is still a claim someone else made, something you read rather than something you watched happen. The gap between reading a description of automation and actually triggering it yourself is bigger than it sounds.
This lesson closes that gap. You will write the smallest possible pipeline definition, a single job with two commands, put it in a real project, push it, and watch GitLab run it. By the end you will have seen a pipeline succeed, and you will know exactly where to look when one fails. ...
