Capstone: Server Setup

Part of the Linux course

Everything so far has been one idea at a time. Real work is never one idea at a time. Somebody hands you a bare Ubuntu machine and says "get the site up, and make sure we have backups", and the job is to assemble a dozen small things you already know into something that keeps running when nobody is watching. That is what this lesson does. Nothing here is new.

The habit to carry through all six steps: after every change, run something that fails if the change did not work. A server you believe is configured is worth nothing.
