Explaining Your Idea
Part of the Vibe Coding: Fundamentals course
In the last two lessons you learned that AI is a capable but fallible assistant, and that a clear request beats a vague one. Now you turn that into a real skill. The idea in your head is not yet something an AI can build. This lesson shows you how to turn a one-line idea into a product specification, a plain-language description of what you want built. There is no code here and no workspace.
Say your idea is "an app for dog walkers." You know exactly what you picture. The AI does not. It cannot see inside your head, and, as you learned, when it is missing information it does not stop to ask. It guesses, and it fills the gap with the most generic thing it can imagine. Hand it "an app for dog walkers" and you might get a blog about dogs, a booking site, a GPS tracker, or a pet-food shop. ...
