Part of the PostgreSQL course
Every column you have created so far has had a type attached to it, TEXT, SERIAL, TIMESTAMPTZ, without much explanation of why that type and not another. It matters more than it looks. Pick a type that is too narrow and a perfectly valid value gets rejected, or worse, silently truncated.
