Lists and Tuples

Part of the Python course

So far each variable has held a single value: one number, one string. Real programs usually need to keep a small group of related values together, like a guest list or the coordinates of a point. This lesson introduces two ways Python does that, and the difference matters less than you might think at first.

Open main.py in the editor. You will see code that builds a list of names, adds one to the end, prints a few pieces of it, removes the last one, then makes a tuple and pulls its two values into separate variables. Click the play button.
