Decorators

Welcome to one of Python's trickier topics. A decorator is a small wrapper you put around a function so it gains a little extra behaviour (logging, timing, an access check) without changing the function's own code. The @something lines you have probably seen in framework code are decorators, and by the end of this lesson you will know exactly what they do.
