Part of the Python course

Welcome back. So far you have used a few functions that came with Python, like print() and len(). In this lesson you are going to write your own. A function is a named block of code you can run as many times as you want, with different inputs each time. Once you can write functions, big programs stop feeling scary, because you build them from small named pieces.
