Schedule an interview
Send a published test to a candidate. Pick a time window, configure reminders, and let EasyEnv handle the rest.
Pick a test#
- Open the testFrom the Test List, click into the test you want to send.
- Add candidatesUse the
+icon in the test card header, or the add-candidate button on the test detail page.
Add the candidate#
You need at minimum the candidate's email and full name.

Pick the mode#
- Live: pick a date and time. The candidate clicks the link at that time, you click yours, and you land in the same workspace.
- Offline / Take-home: pick a window (typically 5-7 days). The candidate can start the take-home whenever inside that window, and once they start, the test's time limit kicks in. Same screen, two industry names: "offline interview" and "take-home assignment" mean the same thing in EasyEnv.
Reminders and the email flow#
Once you click Send:
- The candidate receives an invite email with the interview link.
- For live interviews, EasyEnv sends a reminder 24 hours before and 15 minutes before. For offline, a reminder lands halfway through the window if they haven't started.
- When the candidate submits (or the timer expires), you get a notification. The interview shows up in your inbox as ready for review.
